Notes

Doreen A. McGrath, born Oct '56, was one of the organizers of a violent counter-protest to a faith-based conservative rally in Seattle's Cal Anderson park in May 2025. Twenty-three radicals were arrested at the protest. Earlier, Cal Anderson park was ground zero of the 2020 CHAZ/CHOP occupation. The Christian group holding the rally had asked for a permit for a different location but the city forced the group to hold their rally in the heart of Seattle's LGBTQP+++ neighborhood. Many of the counter-protesters dressed in Antifa's black bloc uniform. McGrath used her FB account to invite radicals to protest "fascist family values" at the rally. She works as an organizer for the Freedom Socialist Party, a socialist/feminist organization. McGrath is another radical alum of Evergreen State University. She lives in the Brighton neighborhood of Seattle. https://komonews.com/news/local/mayday-usa-event-seattle-rally-counter-protest-cal-anderson-park-arrests-police-trans-transgender-lgbtq-abortion-rights-women-family-religion-picket-speech-memorial-day-weekend-christian-group-heated-debate-controversy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUrVR0qP4as&t=3s&ab_channel=KOMONews
