Notes

Shellyne F. Rodriguez (born Aug. '77) is a former adjunct art professor at Hunter College who cursed out a group of students who were hosting a pro-life information table at the school in May 2023. She also vandalized the student's table. A NY Post reporter knocked on her door a few days later and Rodriguez held a machete to the reporter's neck. The reporter left the apartment building, but she followed him outside shouting, "If I see you on this block one more f**king time, I'm gonna…" and "Get the f**k off the block, get the f**k outta here, yo!". Hunter College opened an investigation into the professor's actions and then fired her after the machete attack. It's unknown if the NYPD is investigating her assault on the Post reporter but her crime would seem to be at least aggravated assault. Rodriguez claimed in an article to be a black Marxist. She had a 1998 prior for hindering apprehension but no other criminal charges. She did have a state tax lien. Rodriguez lives in a dumpy apartment building in the Bronx with an elderly man. https://archive.ph/Dqka0 https://archive.ph/znYOW https://twitter.com/i/status/1660695849209348374 (Attack on students) https://web.archive.org/web/20230130140601/https://asapjournal.com/two-readings-on-mistaken-identity-shellyne-rodriguez/ https://www.shellynerodriguez.com/new-page-1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shellyne_Rodriguez
