First Name : Raae

Last Name : Pollard

State : Louisiana

Notes

Raae Irene Pollard was arrested at an illegal anti-police protest in Baton Rogue in 2016 but does not appear to have been convicted of any crimes. Rioters refused police orders to move and trespassed on the yards of local residents. Pollard had traveled from New Orleans with her friend Sami Nichols and held a big sign that said "Love". Cops manhandled her to the ground and she later filed a lawsuit. The dozen or so rioters who were plaintiffs won $1.17 million, not a bad payday for a few hours of rioting. Pollard lives in New Orleans. She belongs to a site called Couch Surfing which appears to match people up with total strangers who want to crash on their couch. Pollard is originally from Australia but has a green card. https://web.archive.org/web/20240329234622/https://clearinghouse.net/doc/97005/ https://archive.ph/VIu90#selection-485.109-485.121 https://archive.ph/V1eem
